Wow, I don't think anyone has ever called me an activist before. I find I feel flattered by the term - thanks!
So . . . what makes you think I haven't read Ruwart's work? Though she hasn't turned by world view upside down, I'll grant that she's a very informed and thoughtful writer and thinker (I know, calling somehow a thoughtful thinker is like saying I'm redundantly repeating myself). But what puzzles me is why you appear to think that Chapter 8 of her book is relevant to my belief that all farm animals deserve some space to turn around.
